Faith and Piety

Penndragon as a game is not designed to function as a vehicle for exploring the complex problems of many faiths interacting, despite how big of a deal it would be especially at the historical context time. It is a game of Courtly Love and Knightly Virtues. Yet what of a Knight who doesn’t been his knee to Rome? Is this Knight incapable of virtue then or is the virtue a different kind. If a core belief of Chivalry is duty to God and king, who are often tied together, can other non-christian Knights be Chivarlic? The answer is yes but how does a knight a paragon of virtues, a champion of the old gods and a champion of heretics stack up against each other? A player must answer that for themselves.
